About The Role

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding our market presence and driving new business opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and converting potential clients, nurturing relationships, and collaborating closely with the leadership team to drive the strategic direction of the agency's growth. You will also work to build our agency's reputation in the industry through networking, partnerships, and thought leadership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Sales Strategy
    • Develop and execute a business development strategy that aligns with our agency’s growth goals.
    • Identify new business opportunities by researching and prospecting potential clients within targeted industries (e.g., tech startups, mid-sized enterprises, etc.).
    • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from outreach to closing deals, ensuring alignment with client needs and our agency's services.
    • Create compelling proposals, pitch decks, and presentations that articulate the value of our services to prospective clients.
  • Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
    • Act as the first point of contact for prospects, establishing rapport and trust early in the sales cycle.
    • Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities to the leadership team.
  • Market & Industry Insights
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and conferences to promote the agency and build a reputation as a thought leader.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with internal teams (design, development, strategy) to ensure the seamless delivery of services that meet client expectations.
    • Provide feedback to the team on client needs and market trends, helping to refine and optimize service offerings.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop outreach materials, case studies, and thought leadership content that supports business development efforts.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the digital product, tech, or creative agency space.
    • Proven track record of successfully closing deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of digital product design and development services (UX/UI, web/mobile apps, digital transformation, etc.).
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex digital solutions to a diverse range of stakeholders.
    • Excellent networking abilities, with a history of building relationships with decision-makers at all levels.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
